Why book it with us

The country is easy. The planning is not.

Anyone can book a hotel in Goa. What takes the time is the rest of it: which three nights in Himachal are worth the drive, whether Kaziranga is open on your dates, how to reach Nongriat and back in a day, which Alleppey houseboat is worth paying more for.

That is the part we do. Every route below is one we run repeatedly, with the drives timed, the permits handled and the stops in an order that makes sense — then bent around your dates, your budget and the people you are travelling with.

The Attithya difference

Atithi Devo Bhava — on the road, not just on a wall

Six things our travellers say they don't get from the big booking portals.

A named human, not a ticket number

One expert plans your trip and stays on WhatsApp through it. You never re-explain your trip to a stranger.

Drives timed, not guessed

Delhi to Manali is not "eight hours" in July. We build the day around what the road actually does, so you are not arriving at midnight.

Pure-veg and Jain food, sorted

Pure-veg, Jain and no-onion-no-garlic meals pre-arranged at every property — a standing request, not a gamble.

Everything in one price

Hotels, private vehicle, driver, permits and taxes quoted upfront. Trains and flights at actuals, shown separately so you can see what they cost.

24×7 on-ground support

A coordinator in each region plus our Noida desk. Landslide on the Manali road at 2am? Someone picks up.

Pilgrimage-grade care

Char Dham, Vaishno Devi, Shirdi, the Jyotirlingas — slower pacing, wheelchair access and medical backup are planned in, not bolted on.

Handpicked itineraries

Eight routes, one page

Beach, hills, desert, backwaters and the far east — with the day-by-day for each. Tell us what to add, drop or slow down; every route is customisable at no extra planning fee.

When to go where

India is big enough that something is always in season. The trick is matching your dates to the right part of it.

School holidays locked in and they fall in the wrong column? Say so — there is almost always a route that works in that window, and we would rather send you somewhere good than somewhere famous.

Traveller stories

What our travellers said

"Three generations, and I was dreading the logistics. They slowed the Rajasthan route right down for my parents, kept the drives short and had a wheelchair waiting at Amber Fort. Not one thing went wrong."
Rashmi & familyRajasthan · Gurugram
"The Kaziranga safari slots alone were worth going through an agent. People were being turned away at the gate; ours were booked weeks earlier and we were in the first jeep out."
Arjun K.North East · Mumbai
"Jain food on a Himachal road trip sounded impossible. Every hotel had it ready and the driver knew exactly which dhabas worked for us. That is the part I would tell other people about."
Sunita D.Himachal · Ahmedabad
Before you ask

Questions we get asked most

Which of these should I pick if I have only four or five days?
Goa or Maharashtra. Goa is three nights and you lose almost nothing to travel; the Ajanta and Ellora route is four and still feels complete. Himachal and Uttarakhand need five nights minimum because the drives up are long, and the North East needs six — going shorter there means spending most of it in a car.
Are flights and trains included in these prices?
No. Every price on this page is land only — hotels, private vehicle, driver, permits, entry tickets and taxes. We book your trains and flights separately and charge them at actuals, so you can see exactly what they cost rather than having them buried in a package rate. Say where you are travelling from and we will quote both together.
Do I need a visa or a passport for Nepal?
No visa, and no passport required for Indian citizens. A voter ID card, or an Aadhaar-linked identity document, is accepted at the land border and at Kathmandu airport, though a passport makes the airport far quicker. Children under 18 travelling without a passport should carry a birth certificate and a school ID. Nepal is the only international route on this page.
Can you handle permits — Inner Line, Rohtang, Kaziranga safaris?
Yes, and it is a large part of what you are paying us for. Inner Line Permits for Arunachal, Rohtang and Atal Tunnel passes, Kaziranga safari slots and Char Dham registration all need booking ahead, some weeks ahead in season. We do that before you travel rather than queueing on the day.
Can we get pure-veg, Jain or no-onion-no-garlic food?
Everywhere on this page, yes. We put a standing request on every hotel booking and brief your driver on which roadside stops work for you. Jain food on a long Himachal or Rajasthan drive takes some planning, which is exactly why it is worth telling us at the enquiry stage rather than on the road.
Is this suitable for senior travellers or someone with limited mobility?
Most of it, with the right route. Rajasthan, Goa, South India and Maharashtra are all manageable at a slow pace, and we can arrange wheelchair assistance, ground-floor rooms and shorter driving days. Some things genuinely are not accessible — the Nongriat root bridge is around three thousand steps each way, and Kedarnath involves a trek or a pony. We will tell you plainly which parts to skip.
What is the best time to travel?
It depends entirely on where. October to March suits Rajasthan, Goa, South India and the North East. March to June and September to November are the windows for Himachal and Uttarakhand, because the monsoon closes roads and safari zones. Nepal is clearest in October–November and March–April. The table above breaks it down destination by destination.
Can you build something that is not on this page?
That is most of what we do. Kashmir, Ladakh, Andaman, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Char Dham, Vaishno Devi, the Jyotirlinga circuit and corporate offsites all get planned the same way. These eight are simply the routes we are asked for most often, written out so you can see how we work.
What is your booking and cancellation policy?
Typically a 25–30% advance confirms the booking, with the balance due 15 days before travel. Peak dates, houseboats and safari slots sometimes carry stricter terms set by the property or the forest department. Whatever applies to your dates is written on your quote before you pay anything.
